Withdrawal Policy
Last updated: 4 October 2026
This English version is provided for convenience. In case of doubt, the German version prevails.
Consumers have a right of withdrawal for contracts concluded with us via our website or by email, as set out below. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.
1. Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.
You can also declare your withdrawal using the withdrawal function on our website at Withdraw from contract. If you use this option, we will send you confirmation of receipt of such a withdrawal without delay (e.g. by email).
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
2. Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
If you requested that the services begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.
End of withdrawal policy
3. Notes on proportionate payment (§ 357a German Civil Code, BGB)
- We usually provide hosting services immediately after the order. We only do so if, when ordering, you expressly request that we begin the service before the end of the withdrawal period and confirm that you will pay a proportionate amount for the services provided up to that point if you withdraw (§ 356 (4), § 357a (2) BGB).
- The proportionate amount is calculated on a time basis: for a monthly contract it corresponds to the share of days until withdrawal in the billing month, for a yearly contract to the share of days until withdrawal in the contract year. For the Lifetime Deal, we base the calculation on a period of 36 months.
- Example: if you withdraw from a yearly contract after 5 days, you pay 5/365 of the yearly price; we refund the rest.
4. Early expiry of the right of withdrawal
- For a contract for the provision of services, the right of withdrawal expires when we have fully provided the service and only began performance after you gave your express consent and at the same time acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal once we have fully performed the contract (§ 356 (4) BGB).
- Domains: Registering a domain is a service that is fully performed upon registration with the registry and cannot be reversed. If you expressly request that we register the domain immediately and confirm that your right of withdrawal expires on full performance, there is no longer a right of withdrawal regarding the domain registration once it has been registered.
- The same applies to SSL certificates once the certificate has been issued at your express request.
5. Model withdrawal form
(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)
